ABOUT JULIA
I shifted my focus toward private clients rather than teaching group classes to start my private in home practice. My clients inspire me and continue to show me the true meaning of "mind - body". Each and every one of us carries a weight on their shoulders never understood by those around. In each session, through every movement and each breath I feel emotion, stress, joy, happiness among so many other things coming from each individual. At times there may be only silence. The human body is a beautiful thing. As we begin to move, learn control of mind over muscle, and start to understand what "listen to your body" means our mind and soul walk alongside. I feel grateful each day to witness so many beautiful human beings transform, become stronger in more ways than one. Perhaps it was the movement which requires our mind to be involved is what makes Pilates as a practice so amazing.
You can expect a highly individualized experience at DTC Pilates. I work with clients of all ages and fitness levels, ranging from sports professionals to desk-bound professionals, clients looking to improve their general fitness, pre-teens and teens, and pre and post natal clients. I have extensive experience working alongside clients who have injuries or limitations to guide them into greater flexibility and strength. The studio is equipped with two Balanced Body Studio reformers, Pilates EXO chairs and other various props. I love to keep things creative and will always keep you on track toward your personal goal.
I am a Balanced Body University Certified Pilates Instructor. I also hold certification in TRX and Pilates Suspension Method. Education has always been part of my life therefore my growth will always continue through further trainings, seminars, workshops and mentorships with the Pilates community.
